St. Louis Arts Chamber Welcomes Two New Board Members

The Arts Chamber is pleased to welcome Judith Arnold and Beth Clauss to our Board of Directors.

Judith Arnold is an Urban Planner working to break the “Delmar Divide.” When British Broadcast Corporation wrote a critical news story about north city neighborhoods, Judith set out to change this narrative by organizing residents in seven neighborhoods to propose a 3.5-mile greenway on an abandoned streetcar route. Great Rivers Greenway said yes and planned with residents. Now, new, and rehabbed construction is happening in unprecedented amounts. She is rooted in vacancy challenges, working to pass PropN which created a $40M stabilization fund for city-owned vacant buildings. Her plans for vacant lot rehabilitation won a recent award from the Kresge Foundation.

Beth Clauss is the Big Fry and CEO of Small Potatoes Communications, a unified creative communications agency based in St. Louis, Missouri. She has accrued more than 25 years of experience as a professional creative and executive, having worked as a copywriter, editor, and producer for companies like Humana, Papa Johns, Mad*Pow, PriceWeber, Cummins Diesel Engine Company, as well as local small businesses and nonprofits. She has served as treasurer and board member for Gateway Dance Conservatory, and also co-owns Gateway Yoga (formerly known as Baptiste Power Yoga St. Louis) in Kirkwood.

We are looking forward to both of them contributing their insights , skills and knowledge to our organization’s leadership.
