Course Objectives
As artists, we must present accurate representations of our work to the public, juries and galleries. Just as the medium used to create the artwork requires specific tools, techniques, and skills, so does the professional photography of the work.
At the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Define Iso, shutter and aperature as it pertains to photographing 2D artwork
- Set up an effective photography station for photographing 2D artwork
- Understand a camera, settings and lighting necessary for an accurate photograph
- Edit the image of your 2D artwork correctly for submission to juri or gallery
- Save the image in formats appropriate for future use, submission and online use
